A list of my favorite go to news sources I’m following for news. To my knowledge, these individuals I share don’t have a personal vendetta out against any party. They want to share facts and perspective to keep the American people informed on issues that matter.
Sharon McMahon is an award-winning teacher on a mission to combat misinformation and inspire you to learn more about history, government, and law. McMahon produces and hosts civics and history content. She is also from my home area, Minnesota.
The Associated Press (AP news) is an independent global news organization dedicated to factual reporting. Founded in 1846, it operates as cooperative, unincorporated association, and produces news reports that are distributed to its members, major U.S. daily newspapers and radio and television broadcasters.
Heather Cox Richardson is an American historian who works as a professor of history at Boston College, where she teaches courses on the American Civil War, the Reconstruction Era, the American West, and the Plains Indians. She previously taught history at MIT and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Meidas on Substack HERE Meidas Touch is independently owned and operated. MeidasTouch Network (MTN) was founded by three brothers Ben, Brett, and Jordy Meiselas. Ben Meiselas is a former litigator, current USC law professor, and co-owner of Los Angeles Magazine and several other marquee media properties in addition to MeidasTouch. Brett Meiselas is an Emmy Award-winning editor and leads video production and digital engagement for the network. Jordy Meiselas is an award-winning marketing expert who works with the world’s top brands.
Acosta is an American broadcast journalist. From 2007 to 2025, he worked for CNN. He served as CNN's chief White House correspondent during the Obama and first Trump administrations, in which he gained national attention for his clashes with President Donald Trump at press briefings.
Aaron Parnas is an American lawyer and democratic activist. Parnas is the son of Lev Paras, known for his role in the Trump-administration Trump–Ukraine scandal. Parnas, who was once a staunch Republican and supporter of President Donald Trump, has since become an activist in support of the Democratic Party.
