Maria Serbus works with established, purpose-driven organizations — i.e. healthcare/mental health providers, established nonprofits, and community organizations — that have a program or service line stuck on the "someday" list or not performing as it could be to make the impact the organization desires. Maria audits what's missing, builds the infrastructure or marketing system to get it running, and hands it off to a team that can carry it forward.

Somewhere in your organization is a service or program sitting on the “someday” list — the one everyone agrees would help your people and grow your reach, but nobody's had the bandwidth to build. This is my specialty - spotting the gap in program utilization / what you say you want to do and why it's not happening yet. Too often established organizations fall into the rhythm of day to day & client/program delivery that they keep passing over the "someday one day list" - where you identify the actual program a could be successful service line / program is still underutilized or not off the ground yet.
Since leaving Mayo Clinic in 2015, I've spent nine years doing the same work under different job titles — spotting the gap between what an organization wants to offer and what it actually has the bandwidth to build, then building it.
BEST FIT FOR CONSULTING: Maria works with established, well-resourced organizations across any service-based industry — healthcare, mental health, nonprofit, sports, professional services, HR and payroll, and beyond. What matters isn't the industry — it's whether your organization has a gap between the mission you set out to fulfill and where you actually are, and you're ready to close it so you can live up to that mission and serve your people well.
Your program exists but isn't reaching the people it's meant to serve. I complete an audit and identify the gaps - what's missing and why isn't this program off the ground or serving in the way you desire yet. Then I help create a road map / plan (i.e. referral pipeline, staff training, and process that gets it running) and from there you can decide if you'd like to partner with Maria for 3-6 months to help get this off the ground & become a self-sustaining program. From someday list to implementation.
Your program is solid, but there's the current marketing plan or lack of isn't working. I audit what's missing across email, social, and referral outreach, and build a system your team can own.
Built for established, financially healthy, service-based organizations — i.e. in healthcare, mental health, nonprofit, and community or membership organizations.

Maria spent years working across different health care & mental health organizations for the last 10+ years and then bringing her coaching, consulting, and speaking to found Maria Serbus, LLC in 2021.
Across healthcare, mental health, nonprofit, and community organizations, she's done the same work under different job titles — spotting the gap between what an organization wants to offer and what it actually has the bandwidth to build, then building it. Maria is a trailblazer and knows how to spot the gap and consult and implement on building out the infrastructure or marketing strategy to bring a new program to life. She brings the same eye for infrastructure and follow-through to every organization she consults with now.

Our club's marketing has completely shifted — we're able to focus on and highlight the work we actually do, and our organization runs better because of it.'
Maria brought value across the board: marketing, organization (operations), communication.
She's dedicated, excellent at what she does, and it shows how much she genuinely enjoys helping businesses and people grow.
